Updated studio apartment in historic brownstone. Cozy space, bamboo hardwood floors, mid century style. Private entrance. Walk from Metro North train, walk to park and beach. Urban neighborhood. Perfect for a getaway, ideal location for exploring Fairfield County, CT. Plenty to do, or not do. Settle in for the weekend and unwind. Order in, or venture out.
Wondrously quaint location. Tremendously communicative. The records and that gorgeous fridge! Booked on short notice and the hosts came through for me in a major way. Do yourself a favor (if you like walks), trek out to the lighthouse. Hosts recommended it and I was able to catch it for sunset. Great place, great hosts, would re-book this place in a nanosecond.
Lovely quaint space close to a big beautiful park on the LI sound. Perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriend, pup and myself! All three of us had a wonderful time. Amazing hosts and great authentic Latina foods!
Perfect for a getaway for a weekend from NYC. This was my first trip since COVID and I was concerned about traveling safely. I was rest assured with the hospitality of the hosts, and their super clean space. It was perfect for my two dogs and I. We spent most of our time at the park and beach just a block away, and eating (safely, takeout/social distanced) at local restaurants and cafés. People in the area were so friendly, and wore masks throughout the city. The hosts were kind enough to welcome me with local beers to try, and you could tell they put a lot of thought into the details of the studio. I loved the Al Green, Jamie XX, Steely Dan, and Hall & Oates records that were available to listen. Thank you for being such great hosts, I can’t wait to come back again soon!
Maid and Butler was the perfect spot for a quiet, romantic getaway. The space is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, cozy and welcoming. Studio apartment style with a bed, couch, table and chair space as well as a convenient little fridge and coffee/tea setup. Fun amenities included a record player, a great record collection, and two vintage style cruiser bikes! Perfect for biking to the nearby Seaside Park. Lots of great restaurants, bars, cafés and more in the area. We recommend checking out Captains Cove for live music and cute shops or Bloodroot for healthy eats and a feminist bookstore! We will always remember our stay here and thank the lovely hosts for providing it!
Maid and Butler was awesome! Gracious hosts and made sure I was taken care of. I gotta say, you CANNOT beat the location. In the first two hours, I’d ridden one of the provided bikes down to the beach, walked all the way to the lighthouse, went swimming in the sound, and then rode the bike downtown to check out Bridgeport. The tips they left were great. I have fond memories of this trip and Maid and Butler made a lot of those memories possible.
The many moments of Bridgeport’s Seaside Park, as captured by one photo every day for an entire year. Photographed by current homeowner, Marcella Kovac. Enjoy Seaside Park as your “other backyard.”
